After referral review, Milestones will determine if observing the prospective student in their current educational environment is the best next step and coordinate as needed.
If there is a possible appropriate opening in the school program, we will arrange an intake assessment at one of our school locations for the student.
Following the intake assessment, the team will determine if the student will be accepted into our school program if there is an appropriate opening.
Either the Principal or Director of Transition Services will typically be in touch with the district and family with acceptance or denial information within two weeks.
