Early Intensive ABA for Autism

Located in Milford, Connecticut, Milestones provides ABA services for young children with autism or other developmental disabilities who require intensive ABA instruction. Our treatment focus is on developing fluent foundation skills (such as imitation and functional communication) necessary for further learning, as well as higher level skills. All of our services are delivered by highly trained Behavior Technicians and Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Free Screenings (12 months to 6 years)

  • Early Intervention Starts with Support and Information

Milestones is committed to providing families with the information and resources they need to promote learning within a healthy and educationally rich environment. We recognize that evidence-based early intervention is necessary for the development of social/emotional, academic, language, play, and self-care skills to address the developmental needs of children who have a special need. While we do not offer comprehensive evaluations to diagnose autism spectrum disorder (ASD), we do offer free screenings to help identify if a comprehensive evaluation is a recommended next step.

  • What to Expect During a Free Screening

Free screenings take approximately 30 minutes and include a brief interview with the primary caregiver, completion of a questionnaire, and a brief observation of the child. Based on the information obtained during the screening, families will be provided with recommended next steps for accessing community resources for further evaluation (if appropriate) as well as other valuable resources related to early childhood development.

  • Helping You Navigate the Next Steps

Through our free screenings we can assist families with:

    • Initial screening for autism
    • Identifying specialized diagnosticians
    • Interpreting evaluation recommendations
    • Determining goals for treatment
    • Support to obtain necessary treatment

If you have questions or would like to schedule a screening, please contact us for more information.
