For currently enrolled students we offer a variety of afterschool programming. Enrollment in any of these programs is subject to available staffing and is available on a first come, first served basis. We are not able to provide these services to students who do not attend our school program.
Please see the information below to learn more. Keep in mind that the times listed are the times these programs are available. Students do not need to attend every day; specific student schedules can be individualized within these timeframes.
On The Move (Tuesday – Thursday, 3-4:30 pm)
On the Move is designed to focus on increased community involvement and participation in community-based leisure and recreation activities. Programming takes place in and around the local community. Students must be able to be staffed 2:1 (i.e., 2 students to 1 staff person) to participate in this program. For more information about On the Move, please contact Robert Sanford at 203-882-8810, ext. 412 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Extra Steps (Tuesday-Thursday 3-5 pm)
The Extra Steps Program is designed to provide opportunities for increased generalization of skills for students who require intensive support and instruction during non-school hours. The staffing ratio for this program is 1:1. Programming mainly occurs on-site at the Wolf Harbor Road Campus. Milestones will work with families and other professionals to determine appropriate activities, schedules and learning objectives for each individual. These learning objectives can include a variety of skill development such as recreational and leisure skills, daily living and vocational skills. The services provided in Extra Steps are customized to meet the unique needs of each participant with a focus on generalization of skills addressed on each student’s IEP. For more information, please contact Robert Sanford at 203-882-8810 ext. 412 or email@example.com or Aimee Haray at 203-882-8810 ext. 315 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
